Lotus flower painting as a pink bud. Contemporary spiritual painting with iridescent copper textured rectangles against a reddish brown background. Tea papers give a tiled look with a lovely variation in color with the natural stains on the paper.
When I first created this lotus flower painting, it had a blue background, gradating from dark to light. The flower was also not as pink, but in the end, I was just not happy with the way it looked. After some introspection, and not really following my head, but my heart, I laid on the rows of tea bag papers and washed the whole painting in a warm, earthy terracotta reddish-brown. I absolutely love this result! What do you think?
This warm and energizing painting looks perfect for your yoga studio or meditation room. This is a comforting painting for a therapist or wellness-practitioner’s office or waiting area.
